Would it be legal for me to make a bag with a picture of a celebrity or brand?

I have some t-shirts that I was thinking of making into bags and one of them is an Aeropostale one. I also had a pic of Taylor Swift I was going to iron onto a bag. I was wondering if that would be legal as long as I don't sell it? (my mom said it might not be?) Thanks!
