Randomly feeling faint and dizzy?

I've noticed recently that when I get up and walk around, I get light headed and dizzy, and I feel like I'm going to faint. It only goes away when I sit or lie down. I've taken blood tests before, and they always have come back okay. I've been tested for anemia, and even though all tests came back negative, I've taken iron supplements. I've been off of them for a while now and have only recently been having this problem. I don't know if I should go back to the doctors, because every time I have in the past, nothing has been wrong. I've only actually fainted once, and that was after having a blood test done. Does it sound like I should go to a doctor or just wait and see if it passes? It's only been going on for about a week, and only gets bad enough that I have to stop what I'm doing like once a day.

Seal off door for 8" sub or build an enclosure within the door?

Ive found a good deal on 2 8" subs and i want to put them in my front doors, they call for 0.5 cubic ft, i figure i could maybe build a fiberglass enclosure within the door or save myself the trouble and use 1/2" gasgetting foam and other types of sealents to seal off the door. I would also do 2 or 3 layers of sound deadening on bothe the door panel and the door. Think i could get away with this or should i build a fiberglass enclosure? The subs are rated for 200 watts rms each. I will also be putting polyfill on the inside of the door panel and door. If you dont like the sounds of this do u have any sugestions for some loud 8" ib subwoofers for under $150 for a pair?

i am planning on getting 4 kicker cvr subs. 12 inch. i have two 2010 models now but getting 2 more 07 models. each sub is rated for 400 rms max. im getting a four hole sealed sub box with about 1.15 cubic feet of airspace in each chamber to put them in. im planning on getting zero gage wire and i have already did the big three. im planning on getting the hifonics bxi2006d. which will prob push 1600 or 1700 rms because they don't do rated power. i have a 105 normal alternator. im wondering all of the electrical upgrades i will need to do to power the amp and not harm my cars electrical system. i prefer not to buy a new alternator . just saying. dont know what kind of battery i have right now though. its not top of the line though.

i always have a sensitive stomach and i have celiacs disease (gluten intolerance) i have no eaten foods with wheat in years and none of my vitamin supplements have wheat they all say gluten free. i started taking biotin with B-complex (to grow out my hair longer) and i take them each once a day and then i also take Lysine (because i have herpes) and a zinc supplement too. the B-complex does not contain iron... why am i getting sick does this have anything to do with the vitamins is it too many? i do spread them out throughout the day

Too many kids these days are materialistic. They won't talk to other kids if their clothes are dingy or the wrong brand. Clothes don't make a person, the person inside does. If everyone wore the same thing, then there would less cliques in schools. I also think that it would boost creativity in new ways. Kids want to say that their clothes are an expression of who they are, and I agree to a point. Wear those clothes outside of school. Learn to express who you are through arts like music, dance, painting, drawing, singing, poetry, or short stories. There are so many ways to express who we are and what we believe, but most kids are being limited to expressing themselves through materialistic means. Clothes, i-pods, facebook pages, makeup, and cars. It's time to find out WHO people are, not what they own.

I have very high iron 510plus and other symptoms akin to bronchitis. Please help me with diet or thoughts?

The previous symptoms are perplexing me and so grateful for Canadian HC, but doagnosis is slow and feels like I am being poisoned and my lungs are starting to feel the effects. Small pangs around liver and kidneys and occassional heart pains. I have changed diet and this has stopped the very painful and stringy stools. Always had issues w acid reflux and triglicerides over 400. For some reason tris are normal now> All this adds up to uncertainty about what to eat to lower that iron fast. I have given blood twice and they let me so my iron levels must be getting better. The most obvious symptom is that for the last month plus I wake up every morening with a burning throat stuffed up nose with lots of yellow green mucus and shortness of breathI I even find myself choking like bronchitus and difficulty breathing I finally saw the Hemo doc after my general practicioner agreed the iron levels were scaring her. He saw me quickly and ordered Hemochrom tests and something else but cannot see me till Sept. My weight gain and loss of energy as well as the occasional painful bowel movement is really scaring me. Any thought on diet or how to atleast get rid of this unending cold. I should also point out that I do not have diabetes but the nighly occasional panging pain near ny liver and also kidney areas concerns me. I am also experiencing more noticable burning around my chest and even occasional pangs into the arm. I am 50 and a nonsmoker and nondrinker w a 3 and half yr old son and wife I want to live for. Why do I get so cold sometimes?

Sometimes I get cold for no apparent reason. Doctor says my iron levels are very good, and I don't use any drugs that would make me feel cold =P lol but sometimes I just feel freezing. I weigh 200 pounds. For a 5'10" guy like me, that's a *tiny bit* fluffy, so it can't be from being underweight. But it's summer, and I still have to wear thick jackets sometimes! Concerns about mortgage pre approval from bank of america?

I received pre-approval from Bank of America for an FHA and VA Vendee loan. This was in early April and they pulled my credit before granting the pre-approval. I finally found a house and made an offer that was accepted. The proposed closing date was scheduled for July 29, but because of the length of time between then and when I received the initial pre-approval, I was advised to allow them to pull another credit report (this was last week). I did this and my score is now 656 (up from 628), my debt-to-income ratio has slightly lowered (due to paying off one credit card and paying down another) and everything else is the same. I had a bankruptcy which was discharged four years ago, and since that time I struggled for a few months (late 2008/early 2009) and had an erroneous state tax lien on my report. They asked from an explanation for these events and stated that I could provide a letter explaining the situations. These same items were on both credit reports pulled by BoA, but now I am being told that they are denying approval because of these items. Why would the grant a pre-approval for 170k, but deny my approval for 97k? I am a college educator and I have been on the job for almost three years. I was told that they would need certain items to process the loan, however they requested none of these items before denying me. I received pre-approval from Wells Fargo (also done in early April) which is still valid. I spoke with that loan officer today and he doesn't see the problem. I would prefer the Vendee program because of the lower fees/closing costs in addition to the zero money down payment, however I may have to go to the FHA from Wells Fargo. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do or why this could have happened? Has this happened to others? Any information that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For an advanced student, yes, this looks like a proper answer. Your entire senior year wouldn't even be in my schedule, so technically, you are taking above and beyond classes. For example, I took Alg 2 Junior year, and will be finishing it senior year. I stretched out my classes, because emotionally and mentally I had a hard freshman and sophomore year, but now I'm much better. I took Psychology this past year (my junior year) and it was amazing. Against sanity and reason, I love IB. Its different from the AP program because if you are bad in an area, you don't take that AP class and you are ok. In IB you are required to take 6 IB classes, one in each main area, and if you don't like it, you go to tutoring and pass the class anyway. You are also required to write a big paper (EE), do community service (CAS), and take a philosophy-like class (TOK) that is not required in the AP program. In my experience standard level IB classes are easier than AP classes which are easier than higher level IB classes. I'll be graduating next year from high school with an IB diploma (four highers, two standards) and an AP diploma (after taking a total of 11 APs). My IB classes are definitely more conscious of the fact that they are IB programs and therefore need to work and teach and run at a certain level of intelligence than APs that tend to be less formal because they can be. IB closes windows in areas like social life and personal freedom to design your own schedule but the classes and work are interesting and in my opinion are most definitely worth it.

I was working out, for 6 months 6 days a week on everything, and I was only drinking water and 2% milk. So that was a BIG morale killer and I basically gave up. So now I'm on here, yahoo asking since You know my situation what is the best way to gain weight? I think they do about certain things. On the other hand, there are certain things about which they have less perspective than my generation did. For example, young people today seem to be under the impression that their lives should be centered around their favorite celebrity or reality show; that what their celebrity of choice says, wears, and behaves is something to be modeled. When I was young my peers certainly enjoyed popular culture and emulated certain things, but they didn't seem to mistake it for reality or place excessive importance on it the way many of today's youth do. So i called our local pool company and the gentle man said for me to buy a pool vacuum that attached to the pump/filter & to shock it so all the iron will sink to the bottom (leave the pump off over night so it will sink) So i done that. Then he said once it sinked to vacuum and the filter would capture it. So i vacuumed it up and the bigger maority of the iron got trapped inthe filter, but the smaller particials came back into the pool. So i shocked it again & vacuumed, still the same thing, some of it would come back into the pool. So after that didnt work for the first 3 times, we put a sock over the return (puts water back into the pool) & that captured some of the iron but not all of it. we left the sock on there for a week while the filter was running, & it settles to the bottom again.Any suggestions would be greatly appericated?

Thoughts on a piece I wrote for my English class?

very good, but after one read its seems more descriptive of her environment than of her character and when you have to start talking abt her character with "julia was an intuitive girl...." it seems very blunt and in complete contrast to the description of her environment which flows like water. you are very good at description of the surroundings, use that to bring out the character. the character development seems very blocky, merge it with the rest of the text. when u describe the grass or the bushes bring out her thoughts abt how she believes there are secrets hidden behind them, in them/it and how when the wind blew she wanted to follow it to see where it went to see perchance where it began,< this is just a crude example to describe her curious character, her determination, start it off smoothly, ease into the character. What is you schools max GPA? If it is 4.0 then your GPA is pretty good. If it is 5.0 then that definitely needs to go up. The SAT score definitely needs to go up if you want to get into Duke. You have a lot of extracurricular activities and community service, which definitely helps. Take as many AP courses as you can, colleges love those and you get some credit for them as well. If you can raise your SAT then you can definitely get into at least half of your top five.

Why do child educators look down upon math and science?

So I am 13, at this assembly in school. This guy dressed as a clown comes in to teach us not to talk to strangers. He had people come up and do activities involving the arts, and the kids liked it. I did not raise my hand as I have always been more of a "nerd", and I have no musical talent with the guitar. I enjoy math, science, and education in general, but it annoyed me when the clown guy said "I'll sing a song about things all kids hate!" Then he started out like BROCCOLLI! SPINACH! CHORES!. But then he started yelling MATH, SCIENCE, SCHOOL, TEACHERS! and things like that. He is assuming that we are all stupid because we are kids, and he is disrespecting the teachers. I know I sound like a suck-up, but he is posing as a role model, yet he tells children at a school that is is right to despise education. The teachers were also enfuriated afterwards, scowling as he preached his biased words of "wisdom". I want to know why.

Should I switch majors to education, my "true calling"?

Ok in high school I have wanted to be an EMT so after I graduated I took the EMT class in college, didn't do so well there so i switched to fire science and even though I did better my parents think that I am not that into it and I have been always pushed for education. Also every one of those dang career tests I took during college orientation, high school, and sixth grade all point that I should be in education and all my teachers and relatives say that I'd make a good educator. So it is apparently my "true calling" so should I go for it? So would it be the right decision for me to switch?

What's the deal with horses and money?

Sadly it has become the norm for instructors to teach people how to show rather than ride. and believe me people it is two very different things. Most instructors these days primarily focus on equitation and presentation. Yes equitation is important. but most any equitation horse could go in the ring and do its job without you. theyre pushbutton trained for a reason. Most people spend 3-6 months stuck on a rail at a walk and trot, the whole time just focusing on position. when the fact is if the instructors would have people doing circles figure 8s serpentines going around and over obstacles, and yes cantering. they would naturally build a better seat as they go on, and much faster than they would just trotting down the rail. Instructors dont seem to teach people how to handle horses anymore. they dont teach how to gain control of your horses feet or how to manipulate them. just go in circles till you figure it out. its sad, ive known people who have been riding in lessons for years yet have no idea how to ride a horse. yes they can stay on and look perfect while doing so, but if anything goes wrong theyre totally screwed and have no idea what to do.
